Intel RealSense – Interactive 3D Vision Showcase at CES
To bring Intel RealSense’s depth-sensing technology to life, we developed an immersive, interactive experience presented at CES in Las Vegas. The installation featured a large-scale screen wall that visualized a fantastical underwater world—brought to life through responsive, fish-like swarms that moved and reacted in real time.
Attendees controlled the environment using wearable tech powered by RealSense. As visitors gestured, walked, or moved their arms, the digital seascape responded—schools of animated creatures scattered, pulsed, or followed, turning simple movement into a vivid display of spatial interaction.
This experience was more than a demo—it became a magnetic centerpiece of the show, drawing in a continuous flow of curious onlookers. The combination of playful visuals, real-time motion tracking, and reactive media offered an intuitive, tactile way to showcase the capabilities of Intel’s vision processors, depth modules, and open-source SDK.
Blending fantasy, interactivity, and cutting-edge tech, the installation transformed complex 3D sensing into a joyful, memorable encounter—showing the potential of RealSense to power next-gen experiences across consumer and industrial spaces.
